Project Details

Emergency Sandy Hurricane Repair contract to provide new concrete and wood boardwalks along with reconstruction of NYC Parks buildings at four locations; 86th St., 106th St. and 115th St. to 166th St., Rockaway Beach Boardwalk Queens NY.

Work was done within a three month period, self-performed mostly by our own union work force.

Include the following new: concrete piles with concrete pile caps. New concrete pavement boardwalks, new canopy structures, new guard railing along entire boardwalk, existing salvaged wood and new wood boardwalks, seating areas, ramps and stairs, new signage, new site furnishings, landscaping, fencing.

Include entire building reconstruction of these buildings with new electrical, plumbing and HVAC subcontractor work. New windows and door installation, new masonry and gypsum wall board partitions, ceilings and roof repairs.
