Project Details

Hudson Park and boulevard is a planned 4-acre-long (1.6 ha) in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan in New York City, being built as part of the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project. The greenway will be between Tenth and 11th Avenues, and between 33rd and 39th Streets. The boulevard will be in the center of the park when complete. Construction will be in two phases; the first phase, located between 33rd and 36th Streets, is under construction as of 2012. The boulevard is to be split into two, with a Hudson Boulevard East and a Hudson Boulevard West. The park is to serve as a median and PCS is building the intricately designed café that is located at the intersection of Hudson Boulevard East and 36th St.

The café incorporates an artistic design that is oval is shape with leaning walls and a curved roof line. The exterior façade is enclosed with custom metal panels and custom stainless steel wind screens that follow the curves.

The facility provides the power for the parks lighting, the water service to the parks irrigation system and public bathrooms.
